Touch-2-Go has primarily been designed to bridge a gap in the market, from Static timetable information through to real time information, on all public transport systems operated and providing a service to a customer based audience. The concept behind the company is to deliver not only a real time solution and understanding of Public Transport networks, but also to encourage greater use of the networks through an increase in overall confidence by the reliability of the services.
Over the years this problem has been of growing concern to central government transport departments, and to date there is not a single national network solution which deals with all public transport systems at one single access point as Touch-2-Go addresses within its Business concept.
Therefore not only does the Touch-2-Go answer the European and Global needs to real time solutions within the transport networks, but in time re-addresses the balance between Public Transport links, which again looks to reduce the overall carbon footprint levels at the same time.
Touch-2-Go has been designed by incorporating a number of new innovation and existing technologies such as Solar energy, to provide power and therefore create sustainability and GPS/SIM technologies to enable the real-time solutions to be delivery accurately and efficiently throughout the network, and from an end users perspective which in turn provides access to the information through a number of devices such as Mobile Phones, Internet and static visual units at the point of need such as transport links and Bus Stops.
Touch-2-Go has therefore been principally designed to re-address the confidence in Public Transport system by allowing end users to access real time information throughout a whole range of service operators at a single touch; this in itself creates a unique selling point to the market.
