Hi Colm,
I'm afraid not. Althought the technology may exist somewhere in the world, dual SIMs aren't supported by any Irish network. The reason for this is that it is too open to fraud.
You could get a separate number for the blackberry, or maybe down...

Have you tried giving our data support team a call? (1850 287000) They wouldn't have too much experience with Linux (because it's just not that common) but they should be able to walk you through and troubleshoot a few options.

If it is Linux (I don't know the model, but I'm presuming it is) it won't have the same "plug and play" functionality as Windows.

What sort of problem are you getting? Is it not installing? Is it installed but not connecting etc.?
That thread the Campbell has pointed to is one of the two modems we sell (the Huwaei E220) so that might be helpful if it's a linux installation.
