To be honest it is the wifi and bluetooth that are draining your battery. I have heard though that 3.0 will have greater battery management so it could improve things for you.

Can I ask Fergal if you are still having this issue. What is happening I believe is that the port to O2 is stuck on one particular step so you get what you are describing above. Let me know either way and I will look into it for you.

Unless you have the iPhone 3.0 software on your phone the skype programme will only work on WiFi. Tried it myself just there just to check.

What I was thinking is I can send you out one of our loan phones with a prepaid sim card until you get sorted with 3 and when you have everything done and you are signed up with a network you can just send it back to us. Give me a shout either way
