This looks good. I currently use the O2 e270 model HSPA USB modem. This looks much better as there are no wires involved. From a upload/download performace perspective is it better? Thanks

Actually there is a wire if you need it. Here are all the contents

Usb with a male and female end
Keyring string
SD card slot(not technically an accessory as it is part of the modem)
It is not better than the older modems but it is upgradable as our network improves. And if you use a MAC like I do it is a god send.

No it comes locked to O2 however you can request the unlock code for it if you wish. It takes about a week to retrieve
