Thu 18th June, 11:00 - 16:00
A new membership organisation, the National Institute for Professional Management Practice in the Community and Voluntary Sector is being established to lead, support and inform the professional development and recognition of managers within the community and voluntary sector.
The context
Managers and those working towards management roles within the sector face increasing pressures to plan, measure, report and manage in complex circumstances. Now more than ever there is need to take a more proactive approach to understanding current issues of management in C&V sector organisations. We recognise the importance you place in having an opportunity to explore, reflect and plan for the impacts of current and anticipated challenges and opportunities.
The 'Insight' series
This series is intended to provide you with that ‘space’ and give you insight into the key issues and trends affecting managers of community and voluntary organisations from a learning and professional development perspective.
We examine the impact of the new realities of management and the implications of changes in the regulatory environment.
These events represent an opportunity to join supportive colleagues in an intimate, interactive forum. They provide great networking opportunities and offer insight into emerging issues in sector management.
Workshops don't often allow participants to take away ideas and information they can put directly into practice.
Our ‘Insight’ series will give us these... and a brown bag lunch too!
Due to the unique nature of the series there is a limit on the number of participants. Book online now or for further information contact Dan Hodgkin School of Community Studies at 01 4498626.
